
You must be properly prepared for any flight test, review or other assessment.
Things to consider:
- Medical – Is your Medical Certificate valid and appropriate to the licence or rating sought? e.g. Class 1 for a CPL.
- Log book – Is your logbook up to date and entries certified correct (if applicable) by your instructor?
- Course of training – If applicable, have you completed an approved course of training by a Part 141 or 142 school and have a recommendation from the school’s authorised person to undertake the test?
- Forms – Have you prepared the necessary CASA application forms?
- Suitable aircraft – Is the aircraft you intend to utilise for the assessment appropriately maintained and certified in the required category? e.g. “IFR”
